Heavily, heavily inspired by Mordor: The Depths of Dejenol (which you should go buy), but with my own twists on the formula, The Depths Beneath was the first game I ever tried to build. It went in many other directions over the years (Colonia itself was one), but this is me sticking to the roots.
You make one or more characters, explore a dungeon, join various guilds to gain skills in different areas, and slowly build up the resources of the town which in turn helps you delve deeper. I hope to add several other novel features as I go, but right now I'm just working through the basics of building the dungeon and town.
